KUALA LUMPUR GP CITY 2007

The fifth Kuala Lumpur Grand Prix City from 1 to 8 April 2007 is a mixture of entertainment built around the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix race. With its theme “One Season, One Thrill, One City”, KLGP City 2007 combines the best of motorsports, fashion and entertainment all in one place.

The event kicks off with the KL Vintage Classic Cars Concours at Dataran Merdeka on 1 April where over 80 vintage and classic cars from Denmark, Belgium, Holland, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia are to be displayed. On the same day, a 5-km run on an inner city track will thrill spectators.

During 5 to 8 April, motorsports fans have the chance to touch and feel the world of F1 via a “plug and play” experience in the Pit Lane Park circuit located at the car park on Jalan Binjai near KLCC Park. It is brought to Malaysia for the first time by the BMW Sauber F1 team.
